Hood Cleaning Service

The Commercial Hood Cleaning INC main focus is to remove built up grease and dirt from inside your pipes, hoods, fans and vents. Our cleaning program consists of the following:

  • All kitchen ventilation systems are thoroughly cleaned from top to bottom. Food-grade caustic chemicals are then added to the fat to dissolve it. In most cases, these chemicals are applied using sprayers designed for horticulture, downstream injector pressure washers, or chemical foam machines.
  • After the chemical has been left on the surface of the oil stain for a certain period of time, it is removed with boiling water. In exceptional cases, if rinsing after applying the chemical does not remove large amounts of grease deposits, a scraper can be used to remove excess deposits from the area before applying the chemical.
  • A hot water pressure washer is used to remove oils and chemicals from the surface. In most cases, a heavy duty tarp is used to capture the exhaust hood wastewater by attaching it to the hood and disposing it at an angle into a trash can. When the can is empty, it is replaced with another of the same size and type.
  • Often, as a final step, the hoods are polished to not only look better, but also make them easier to maintain. Hood cleaners also place a sticker on each hood in the exhaust system to certify to insurance adjusters and compliance agencies that the hoods have been cleaned in accordance with local fire code requirements.

  • Filters
    The filter is a visible stainless steel part of the range hood that prevents dirt from getting into the machine fan. The job is to carefully separate the filter from the exhaust system and then have a professional cleaner clean each component of the hood individually.
  • Fans
    The purpose of a mechanical fan is to direct airflow and remove cooked air from your kitchen. This function also makes the fan vulnerable to oil and dirt, which ultimately affects its efficiency. Our technicians use specialized tools to clean the fan blades and casing from inside out, ensuring all built-up grease is removed.
  • Grease Traps
    Grease traps are designed to capture all the dirty oil from your cookware. There is a small tray inside the pipe that collects the grease. It is not easy to remove all the sticky oil. Commercial range hood cleaning services solve this problem by using powerful vacuum cleaners and other cleaning tools to remove the oil from the bowl.
